Our client August Electronics is a Canadian electronics manufacturing services provider that supports OEMs through prototyping, production builds, assembly, testing, and ongoing lifecycle support. They operate primarily out of Calgary, Alberta and support customers whose products move through Canadian and broader North American supply chains.
They are a mid-sized organization (roughly 50–200 employees) with a mix of operations, quality, engineering, supply chain, and leadership roles that depend on timely, accurate reporting to manage production performance and business decisions. The organization is also part of a larger manufacturing group, which adds scale and complexity to how reporting and operational visibility need to work.
Reporting often starts as a spreadsheet task and slowly becomes a business dependency.
