Every year, our team organizes and participates in a variety of fundraising campaigns in support of the United Way. These efforts support our community’s most vulnerable and raise much-needed funds that benefit children, families, seniors, and those living in poverty.
Our annual fundraising efforts have contributed a total of $175,000 since we started supporting the United Way.
In addition to raising money, our team participates in the United Way’s ‘Day of Caring’ where we get directly involved in community events & activities.
The Christmas season can be a challenging time for families living throughout British Columbia. We want to ensure that children wake up Christmas morning to presents under the tree and food on the table.
From food hampers to helping put toys and clothes under the tree, West X provides practical assistance to those in need every Christmas season.
Ride Don’t Hide is the largest mental health bike ride in Canada with almost 10,000 riders and hundreds more family members, friends and volunteers across Canada taking part, raising more than $2 million each year for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Ride Don’t Hide events are welcoming community events that build awareness, inclusion and acceptance, and where everyone is encouraged and supported to speak openly about their own mental health.
Every June, West X employees raise funds for CMHA by getting on their bikes and joining the movement.
