Supplies – Helpful Tips

Automatic Toner Ordering

Toner is set up to be automatically ordered based on your device usage. This ensures you receive supplies before you run out.

Waste Toner Containers

Waste toner containers are also set up for automatic replenishment. However, we recommend proactively ordering an extra unit to ensure you always have one on hand and avoid any interruption.

If Toner Stops Arriving

If toner is no longer being delivered automatically, it is typically due to an incorrect “on hand balance” in the Xerox system.

To resolve this:

  • Call the appropriate support number listed above, or
  • Log into the online portal (if enabled) to reset your on hand balance

Xerox Cartridge Recycling Program

Xerox offers a comprehensive program for recycling and remanufacturing used supply items.

Through the Xerox Cartridge Collection Program, customers return more than 2.5 million cartridges and toner containers annually, helping reduce environmental impact and support sustainable manufacturing.

How to Return Used Supplies

To return your used Xerox supply items, please follow the instructions outlined on the Xerox Cartridge Collection Program page.

You can also review the Xerox Take Back List to confirm which supply items are eligible for remanufacturing.
